Who’s Behind This

I’m not a guru. I’m a guy who had to build the system himself.

I was born and raised on Aquidneck Island. I started out painting houses — first for someone else, then for myself, then a handyman outfit with a partner that I shut down on purpose, because I knew I still didn’t know enough.

In 2015 I founded Remodeling Right. Today it’s an award-winning, veteran- and family-owned general contractor with a real team running the day-to-day. Somewhere in that decade I stopped being the guy swinging the hammer and became the guy responsible for everyone swinging one.

That transition is where most men get quietly buried. I was running my body on whatever was left over, my business on adrenaline, and my patience at home on fumes. Nobody hands you a manual for that part. So I built one.

Dialed Iron is that manual, made public. Everything here is what I actually run — tested against a real business, two sons, and a life that doesn’t pause because I’m tired. No hype. No fake income screenshots. No before-and-afters that took a decade of context to explain.

Why I Built Dialed Iron

The military taught me something I’ll never forget:

When everything falls apart, you don’t rise to the occasion—you fall back on your training.

As an Army paratrooper serving in Afghanistan, I was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Valor. People often assume that kind of recognition comes from extraordinary courage in the moment.

It doesn’t.

It comes from thousands of ordinary moments beforehand.

Hours of training. Repetition. Systems. Discipline. Trusting the process when fear is trying to take over.

I wasn’t thinking about being a hero. I was simply doing what I’d trained myself to do.

That lesson stayed with me long after I took the uniform off.

Years later, my world stopped.

At the end of May 2026, my son Owen was diagnosed with Stage IV Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

No amount of success in business prepares you to hear those words.

In an instant, every priority changed.

As a husband and father, I didn’t have the luxury of shutting down. My family needed someone steady. Someone who could make decisions, lead with clarity, and keep moving even when everything inside wanted to freeze.

I leaned on the same thing that had carried me before.

Not motivation.
Not willpower.
Systems.

The routines I’d built. The habits I’d practiced. The standards I’d committed to long before I needed them became the foundation that allowed me to keep showing up—for my wife, for my boys, for my business, and for myself.

My wife, Cassie, has been that foundation beside me every step of the way. We’ve carried this weight together, one day at a time.

We’re still in the middle of Owen’s fight.

This isn’t a story from the finish line.
It’s a story from the arena.

Dialed Iron exists because I’ve learned that the strongest men aren’t the ones who never face adversity.

They’re the ones who build systems before adversity arrives.

Because life will test every one of us.
You don’t get to choose when.

You only get to choose whether you’ll already have something strong enough to stand on.

The Five Pillars

Five domains. One standard.

Most men don’t need more motivation. They need structure. Everything published, built, and recommended here lives inside one of these five.

01

Physical

Train with intent. Eat for performance. Recover on purpose. Build a body that backs up the man you’re becoming.

02

Mental

Sharpen the operating system. Clear thinking, steady nerves, and discipline that doesn’t depend on how you feel.

03

Leadership

Build the machine. Systems, leverage, and leadership that create freedom — not just more revenue and longer hours.

04

Fatherhood

Be the man your family already believes you are. Presence, patience, and standards your kids will inherit.

05

Brotherhood

Iron sharpens iron. Standards are easier to hold when other men notice the moment you go quiet.
